SHIPPING:
We base our shipping costs on the actual costs as provided by the carrier. Our standard carriers are UPS ground, FEDEX ground, or USPS. Faster delivery is available by overnight or 2 day options. RETURNS:
We will refund 100% of the purchase price for any product returned within 21 days of purchase less the actual shipping costs and a $25 handling fee. Products must be returned in NEW condition in their original packaging within the 21 days of purchase based on the shipment from our facility. All packaging, products, and manuals must be in their original NEW condition. Products returned in other than NEW condition or incomplete contents will be subject to a 15% minimum restocking charge. Products returned damaged or in unacceptable condition will be returned to the customer without exchange credit. Please contact us for an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number prior to return to ensure proper credit for the return. Product condition will be determined solely by NYOPTICS.
WARRANTY REPAIRS:
All products returned for warranty repair will require an RMA number prior to shipment. Contact us either by Email ( sales@NYOPTICS.COM) or by telephone (925) 820-
Products outside the warranty period or unsuitable for warranty coverage will be charged a $50 repair inspection fee. This fee will be deducted from the repair costs when final costs for parts/labor have been determined. The customer will be contacted prior to initiating any repairs with complete costs.
NOTE: Please ensure all microscopes are properly protected for shipment. We suggest bubble wrap of the microscope components (multiple layers), place these in a close fit box, then place this box in a larger box filled on all sides with Styrofoam packing ‘peanuts’. This ensures no shifting of the optics during shipment. Do not simply place the wrapped optics in a box of Styrofoam ‘peanuts’ – damage is almost guaranteed.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from our facility. We can ship using your own carrier account if preferred.
